A background in business and commerce, with art always running as a parallel passion. West23 is where the two finally converged.
The interest in art was never academic. It developed over years of looking, travelling, and noticing what stopped me in a room. Not what was famous. Not what was expensive. What stopped me.
West23 started because we saw a gap – not in art availability, but in curation. There is plenty of art out there. What was missing was someone to sift through it and surface what is actually worth living with. That is what we do.

How we work
West23 operates from a private art house in Chennai. Intimate, unhurried, designed for focused viewing. The space lets the work breathe. Every visit is by appointment – not to be exclusive, but to ensure every visitor gets proper time and attention.

No rushed showroom visits. We walk you through the collection, discuss what catches your eye, and talk about how a piece might work in your space. No hard sell. No jargon. Just a conversation about art.

We work with collectors and interior designers on finding the right pieces for specific spaces, aesthetics, and budgets. Whether it is a single statement piece or building out an entire collection.
Selective acquisition
The collection spans painting, sculpture, antiques, and decorative objects across Western and Eastern traditions. The mix evolves based on what we find compelling – not what the market dictates.
